Well yesterday was a busy day for us. We did the chores in the morning. Had to make sure that my girls (goats) were still alive with the Buck. All is good there. After doing the chores I looked like an old man. My facial hair was all ice from being so cold outside. I sure like our wood stove that we bought. Our old one would have never lasted through the night on these last few cold nights that we had. God sure blessed us with that boiler. He came up with the money in the nick of time. As I said before in one of my fewer posts. That we have been getting blessed for these last few months from God. Now to the boiler. This boiler cost us 7,500.00. Now when someone looks at this with the earthly eyes. One would say. We are going to freeze this winter. There’s just no way that we can afford to buy or get a loan for this. But in the Spiritual realm it was already bought and paid for. And it was. We just kept on believing on God’s word for the money to come and it did. Every last cent was given to us. We’ve been thanking God ever since. Now back to the busy day. Well last Saturday we went to Tom’s house for a visit. While there he told us about feeding chickens bread to keep the feed cost down. So I called the local bread company in St. Cloud and ordered some bread. We ordered 35 trays. For 35.00. Not a problem right? Well we found out that there is about 10-15 loaves of bread on each one. Then they asked if we just wanted to add 2 more so they didn’t have to separate there pile. I said sure. It didn’t look like a lot of bread at that time. So we started to load the bread. First thing to remember is to bring gloves when temperature is below zero. Fingers can get a little frost bit. So we started to load, and load, and load the car. I noticed our trunk was getting full. So I told Kari to start filling up that back seat. I do have to let you know that out trunk is pretty big. We can fit twelve 50 pound chicken bags in it. So the trunk was full the back seat was full. Now the kids could barely move back there and we still had 12 trays to go. So we had to drive all the way back home which is just over 40 miles away. Unload all the bread and then go back and reload. So we figured we have over 400 loaves of bread. I wish we could have done it the same way Jesus did in the Bible. I wish we could have just broke the bread and blessed it and have 12 baskets of bread left over. So Tom if you want some bread we have some. We have 2 6 foot freezers that were kind of empty do to all the chicken sales. So we filled them up to the top. We still had a huge pile left over. The chickens sure do like the bread. They better after all of that. The shocker is that some of the breads would cost a person 3.00 in the store. Man our chickens really better like the bread now. There moving into the upper class chicken living. Well better get back to the family here. Everyone have a great one. I almost forgot. God blessed us again. When I started driving a metro bus I was put on extra board. Which is primarily a fit in. If someone calls in sick or goes on vacation then I fill in for them. Well it can be good and bad. A person could have 50+ hours in a week or just 20 or 30. So when bids came up to get a normal route came up I had a choice of 2 runs. Both were late night runs which would hurt the family life. So I didn’t take them. Just felt in the heart to stay extra board. So this last week they found out that there was an error with one of the bids. So they had to do a re-bid. Well I thought that I would just be extra board again. So I told God whatever your will is I’ll do. Well to make a long story even shorter. I was able to get a bid that I didn’t have to work late nights. Isn’t God good. Now I’m guaranteed 40 hours and Kari is able to get a part-time job. Which will help with the our financial status. God is great. She just applied today at the same place she just worked and they said that she will be hired without a problem. Just remember as long as your in God’s will great things are going to happen. Even it’s not as fast as you might want. It’s God’s will not ours. It all on His time. Don’t give up just keep believing.

Well not to much going on. The winter weather is on it’s return this week. Today it reached 39 degrees. Tomorrow’s high is 10 degrees. Wed high is -2 degrees. Yep well that is life in Minnesota. They are also saying that the wind shield is going to be -30 to -40 degrees. They say that about 20 to 30 seconds that your skin starts to freeze. Some people think that Minnesotans are crazy for living here. If you every come here you’ll never want to leave. Fishing, snowmobiling, 4 wheeling, and lots, lots more. Well there’s happiness in the barn tonight. We are borrowing a male goat from a friend for our 4 lady goats. I was instructed by Tom that I needed to sanctify the ordeal. So we had a quick marriage ceremony. So all is good there. So life on the hobby farm is going great. God is blessing us tremendously with people coming in and buying eggs and chickens. We started last week with 45 chickens in the freezer and now we have 7 chickens. We can’t even keep our eggs in the fridge. We have at least 2 to 3 new people that come every week. Isn’t God great. Not only is He blessing our little farm, but He’s putting people in our lives that we can witness to. Well everyone have a blessed week.

How many think that Peter’s life can relate to you? In so many ways I can see my self sometimes in Peter. Kind of like when he walked on water then began to sink. Now I’ve never walked on water, but Jesus has told me to get out of the boat on somethings. There I am focused on Him. Then the waves of life get me unfocused and I start to sink. Just to have Jesus come over to help me out. I would say that Peter was the leader in the disciples. Everything that was asked there was Peter. Everything they did wrong there was Peter. Just look at the boat incident. All the other disciples never spoke out to go to Jesus. They were still terrified that it was a ghost. How about when he answered Jesus’ question right on who the Son of God was. Then 2 minutes later he’s being told get the behind me Satan. Then he’s the first to mention that he would never deny knowing Christ. Right after that the other disciples said the same. Just to find out that Peter did deny Christ 3 times that night. Then there he is. The first one out of the upper room saving the lost. Have a big revival. The cool thing was that Jesus never gave up on Peter. He saw the real potential inside of him. Even though Peter messed up numerous of times and he didn’t have the big measure of faith. Jesus knew what he was going to do for the kind of God. The same can be put with our lives. Yes we’ve messed up. Yes, we may have missed what God was telling us to do. The cool thing is. That God didn’t give up on you. He’s still there waiting for you to come back and ask for help. Just as Peter did when he was sinking in the water. He could have easily started to swim back to the boat and never asked for help. He did the right thing by asking for help. He new that Jesus could help him. The only thing was that he had to ask. Don’t let your pride keep you from what God wants you to do. There was a preacher that said this, “there was a line up front of the church for people to get back in line with what God wants them to do. This pastor said in his heart he knew that he needed to go. His pride rose up and started to tell him what do you think people are going to say. Our own pastor has lost his way. So he did nothing. Just stood there like nothing was wrong. He missed it again didn’t he. 3 months later he had another opportunity to get back in line. He said that since the first time he was praying for the direction that he needed to go. But got nothing. He said this time he went up and got the clear vision of what he needed to do. See he missed it the first time. So just like a Father would do he gave him a second time. The reason that he didn’t get the direction when he prayed by himself. I believe is that God had to deal with his pride issue. The thing is don’t think that just because you’ve messed up or that your not even close to doing what God wants you to do that you just gave up. God is more that willing to help you get back on track. Just look at Peter. He got off track and then got back on track to have an unbelievable ministry. So look up, get on those knees and get back on track. Don’t let pride guide your future. Because pride can only lead to destruction.
