So how do you know if you have true wealth? What do you consider true wealth to be? Is it money, a big house, nice cars, or being a boss of a company? Well this morning I was reading the bible and God asked me what I thought what true wealth was. I gave Him my answer. Then there was time of suspense. It was a few minutes later when He answered back. I was getting nervous that I totally blew the question. So He just asked simply. Is that what you think true wealth is. I said yes. Then I asked what is true wealth. I found out at an early age. If you don’t ask He can’t answer. So God said this to me. If I got rid of everything I owned. Would I have true wealth? He said friends are not considered to be true wealth or part of the true wealth equation. Just because friends come and go. If you don’t have a house or money most friends would be gone. If you offend a friend more or less they will be gone. The only thing you have for sure is your family. Family members will always be there. Even if you don’t get along with family members they are still family. Family is part of true wealth. It’s not the strong part of true wealth though. He told me to picture myself with my family. Then picture myself without my family. Now picture myself with nothing. Not even with clothes on my back. Do I have true love He asked? Not sure what to say at that point. He said when you have nothing you have everything. See your true love is inside of you. When you asked Jesus to come into your body in engulfed it totally with Himself. You have everything that Jesus has. It doesn’t matter what you have on earth. Because when you die you can’t take it with you. The only thing you can take is the relationship that you have with Jesus. People might have billions of dollars and still don’t have true wealth. When they die. There wealth will be gone. There true wealth will be shown. See there true wealth will be eternity in Hell. There wealth will not save them. Even though how hard they will try to explain there lives. They will still go to Hell. When you except Jesus into your heart. You except true wealth. This wealth will be for eternity. All the money in the world will not compare to what you will have in Heaven. So don’t worry about what you do or don’t have on earth. All that you need to know is that your true wealth is waiting for you in Heaven.

That’s why we shouldn’t care about worldly desires. It doesn’t matter. Our focus should be on what God wants us to be doing. It should be saving the lost and doing His will. He’s given us gifts to use and it’s about time we use them. Let’s not worry about how to do it, or where we might be going. It just starts with one step in the right direction and let God worry about the rest.
