You are who you are because of your Parents!!

Well the house is on the market. So just waiting for the people to start biting. Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend. The weather has been pretty nice. Unfortunately the mosquitoes have come out. So needless to say. When the sun goes down I go in. They like my blood for some odd reason. Someone did say that they can smell a person from a mile away. Kind of scary. I was thinking the other day how I became kind of like my parents. It’s kind of strange how that works.  Then I was reading in Genesis. I was reading how Abraham pretended his wife was his sister so the king wouldn’t kill him. Well then a few chapters down you see Isaac doing the same thing that his father did. The funny thing was that he wasn’t even born when his father did it. So it had to be a genealogy thing. Where God implants the behaviors of our parents in us. Kind of like when it says in the Bible that if you train you child they won’t depart from it. Then I read a story that a child that was abandoned as an infant. 20 years later he ends up finding his parents. To there amazement they had some same behaviors. He had the laugh and humor of his dad and liked the same foods of his mother. It was instilled in him as a baby. Isn’t God great. The cool thing is that there are some characteristics of us that came from our great and great grandparents. The thing is. Not only do they pass along the good things, but also the bad things. They can pass along, cancer, heart disease, plus many other things. That part can change though. We have to remember that any curse on the family comes from the devil. The devil has been defeated over 2000 years ago. By the One and Only Son that died on the cross. By Jesus dyeing on the cross. He broke every curse in your family. The thing that happens is. Year after year we take the curses with us. We don’t stand against it, but take it because everyone else has had it so why not me. See I know that my kids will never have High blood pressure. They will never have high cholesterol. Why can I say this with confidence. It’s because I asked God to break the curse that has been handed down from generation to generation. Heart problems in my family stem down over 4 generations in my family. That has now stopped with my generation. I canceled it for every by the name and blood of Jesus. I took the stand against to cancel it. Now blessing are the same way. If you look at Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. You will find out that blessing were passed on from generation from generation. Today we have a tendency to put curses that tend to stop blessing on our children. See God had every tension and still does have that tension in words. There is so much power in the words that we speak. There life and death in our tongues. So every time you tell your kids that you are stupid or that they won’t mount up to nothing. You are speaking those words into there life. For most people after saying ill words to there kids. They do nothing about it. They never ask God to erase those words. Instead they let those words arise in there kids lives. The more they say them the more powerful they become. The next thing you know your kids have become them. Just look at the stories in the bible. Parents encouraged there kids to do great things and they did. They became kings and rulers. They were able to do things that God wanted them to do because they encouraged them and not cut them down. So the next time you say something about you or your kids. Make sure it’s a Godly word. See the more you say about your kids. The more you kids will say about there kids. One last thing. Just like you become like your parents. God wants us to become like Him. Isn’t He our Father. Doesn’t He want us to become like Him. The only way to do that is to read His word and get to know Him. The more you do. The more you’ll become like Him. Now if you become like God. Then your kids will become like God. That’s why it’s important for us to get to know God.  That way we can train our kids in the right direction.

Money equals Healing?

Ok maybe I’m behind the times or something? Or maybe I don’t have the right Bible? After going through the hole bible I haven’t found one scripture that says. If you give to a church you will receive healing. Otherwise you won’t receive anything. That is what a lot of Pastors are doing. I’ve been getting some fliers from some pastors that I used to support. That’s right used to. There letters would say. If you want healing in your body or financial healing just send a donation and we’ll send you a prayer cloth for your situation. I’m sorry but that is a little bit wacko. For me I can’t support a ministry that is not bible based. This isn’t bible based but money based. They figure that can make a buck the easy way. Instead of trusting in God they are working in there flesh. I’m not against church’s or ministry asking for help with building funds or missions. This has just gone to far. You don’t have to give money to a church or a ministry to get a financial break through or a healing. All you have to do is believe. Use your faith like the woman with the issue of blood and the blind men. The problem why people don’t get healed sometimes or they don’t keep there healing. They go up with a I just want to see if it works or not. They don’t go up believing but seeing. The word says not use your eyes, but your spirit. Your eyes can’t see the things that God is doing, but the spirit can. The story with the woman with the blood problem is what we have to go by. Here’s a woman that digging through the crowd. Knowing that all she has to do is touch Jesus’ garment to be healed. So while she is digging through the crowd she is saying to herself. Don’t give up I’m almost there. All I have to do is touch His garment to be healed. I’m going to be healed, I’m going to be healed, I’m going to be healed. She probably repeated that over and over. Even when her body was ready to stop. She kept on repeating it. Until she touched Jesus’ garment. Then Jesus asked who touched me. The time that she was confessing she was building her faith more and more. Jesus’ power bolted out of Him into her. We have to change our thinking. Instead of going up in a healing line just to see what’s going to happen. We need to go up there with our eyes closed and thanking God for the healing that we need. It doesn’t matter what is going on around you. You are up there for one purpose. That is to get healed. So focus on that. Focus on God and His healing power entering your body. Start thanking Him for what He has done for you. When you are in line that is your time with God and nobody else. So get focus, start using your faith, and start thanking God for your healing. Then watch what God is going to do in your life.

Remember even if you don’t believe in God. There will be one day that  you will find out that God is real. Are you willing to make one big judgement on your own thoughts. You could be the difference between eternity in Heaven or hell. For me. I wouldn’t want to re lie on my own thoughts, but the facts are in front of me. Even though many people have tried to say that the bible is just a book of lies. Each one have left there studies with change believes. Once they didn’t believe but now they do. So you say that you don’t believe in God or heaven or hell. I will tell you one thing. Read the Bible. IF you read the bible and still don’t believe you’ll be one of the few. I will tell you. If you read the bible with an open heart. Your life will be truly changed, and you will believe.

 If you are not saved you WILL BE LEFT BEHIND. All you have to do is ask Jesus into your heart. And repent of your sins. You will have eternal life. And rejoice with us in heaven.
