Having victory in tough times!

I know that a lot of people are going through tough times right now. It would be easy to look at the situations that you are in and just give up. Some might be so deep that you can’t even see the light of day anymore. Bills are late and you don’t even know where your money has gone. You might not even have enough money to feed your self or your family. All I can say don’t give up. I’m right there with the most of you. Each check that I get we wonder if we are going to have enough money to pay the bills. Or even get food for the family. Then when we think that we can almost see the light something happens. The car breaks down or something needs to be replaced. When will it end? Where do you turn to? I will tell you. You can’t turn to the world! The world is a mess. If the world is in a mess how can it give you the answers you need. You have to stay your ground. You have to know that God is always there and He’ll never leave you. Even though it doesn’t seem like He’s there. He is! Sometimes as Christians we think that our lives are going to be easy. It never said it would be easy in the Bible. Let me ask you something? When life becomes tough were does your faith go to? Does it go to worldly answers or Godly answers? Do you get deep in prayer and into your Bible or do you turn away from it? For most people they feel like they’ve been rejected by God. That He must not care about them so they turn to there own answers. Which turn to there own stress and headache. Then they find themselves deeper in the hole than they started. I know that because that is what I had been going through. That’s because we let the devil tell us that we are worthless and that we are on our own. When we are weak the devil comes in and tears us down. You just have to remember that when we are weak God is strong. He does have all the answers. We just have to wait upon Him for the answers. To wait means it could be a while or it could be quick. These last few years have been tough for my family. We’ve seen God move and have felt were in the world is God at this time. We have pawned things off to pay for bills and for food. It’s tough to stay strong when a persons life is so down. The thing is. It always comes back to God. If you have nothing. Isn’t it great that you’ll always have God. We might not know everything that is going on. All I know is that God is in control of everything. He’s not in Heaven going man I didn’t see that one coming. No He’s in Heaven going here’s the answer on the way. I’ve found out that we are the ones that mess up His answers. We start doing or own thing. So we miss His answer. We have to learn to praise Him in good times and bad times. Just because times are tough now doesn’t mean they will always be tough. We just have to get deeper into His word and prayer. Don’t let the times get you down. Let the times get you closer to God. Let God take control of what He wants to be in control of. Our life here is so short compared to our life in Heaven will be. So why worry. All worry brings is more worry. No happiness, but sadness. God brings life and more abundant life than you’ll ever have. So don’t give up in these tough times. Look up and see your Father in Heaven holding you tight and saying that it’s going to be ok. That the answers is on the way. The pain that we feel. God feels also. He doesn’t want us sad, but happy. So your victory is on the way. Get into His word and tell the devil were to go. When you get into His word you’ll be amazed on the answers that you’ll get. God loves you more than ever. Just give Him the chance that He needs. Then when you look back in life you’ll see that when you were down. God raised you up to were you are. So give God the glory and see your life change.

Today is a new day!

Well the weather is changing again. It just seemed that it was fall. Where did summer go? To bad winter didn’t go as fast as summer. Times are changing. People are worried about there investments? Not knowing if they will have a job? People are more stressed than ever? So where is your trust? Where is your faith in knowing everything is going to be ok? It brings me back to past history. How did our great grandparents do it? They went through the dust bowl. How did they survive? Well they didn’t put there trust in the government! They put there trust in God and there ability to keep themselves a live. They didn’t wait for government answers, but came up with there own answers. They knew how to live without anything, and have fun with it. Yes, they made through it. They had a better grip on financial stability than we do. They didn’t borrow money. They saved money. They didn’t spend money they didn’t have. This last week some people on the bus asked what we were doing for Jacob’s 5th B-day. So I told them. They were amazed that is wasn’t something more. I said it was just a B-day. That you don’t have to go crazy for it to be fun. I think today people are looking for money and big things to make them happy. Money will never make you happy. Things will never make you happy. God and family is the true need a person needs. It’s the love of family and friends that will overwhelm any thing you can buy and do. Love is God, and God is love. Love will conquer all things. If you are depressed and sad. Find friends and family to hang out with. You’ll find in no time that you are happier and not worrying about anything. I am so lucky to have loving wife that loves me so much. She makes me happy when I am down. She really doesn’t have to say anything. She shows the God kind of love everyday. See it doesn’t matter to us what we have or don’t have. All that matters is that we have each other and God in our lives. We always remind eachother that even if we have a bad day that tomorrow is always a new day. Even if we blew the day that we are in. The next day will even be better. I’ve found out to. Why worry about what the economy is doing. Can you fix the problem by worrying about it and getting stressed out about it. Nope! It will still be there. The things you should be fixed on is God, family, and friends. As long as you have a God centered life and loved ones by your side. You can’t go wrong. Love will get you through everything.

Never ending INTRODUCTION!

I was watching golf the other day. At the beginning of the tournament they anounce the player and all they have accomplished. Then I was think. What kind of introduction would Jesus have when HE comes back. That’s if He needed one. Then I saw this video. I think it would be more to it, but it works. Then watching this video at the end I thought of all the people cheering. Man I can’t wait to get to Heaven to hear millions cheering like that.
