How’s everyone doing out there? Well winter is arriving. Been having flurries these past few days. And a sad sight to see is that the Mississippi River has a coating of ice all the way across it. No one ever likes to see that. Well I’m just going to mention this. Just because of late there has been a few pastors on the Tv and radio say that one church is better than the next. Well there isn’t. All church’s are created equal as long as they believe in salvation and they speak the Word of God to the fullest. The Bible tells us to go throughout the world and spread the Good News. It didn’t say that you had to believe in Speaking in Tongues or have to go through religious classes. If we would take the church buildings away and the name of the church’s away. What would we be left with? People! Jesus never intended for people to start church’s to be against each other. That almost sounds like the Pharisees in the Bible. Ok I won’t go there or did I. It’s time for us to come together and start working together on spreading the good news. If that means supporting another church’s missions so be it. If that means supporting there building program or even an outreach in the town so be it. It kind of goes in line with that saying. What would Jesus do? Would He stand there saying I’m not going to help that church out because the have a priest or they speak in tongues! No He would be right there trying to help out. See the amazing thing is. When you speak the good news. And you preach the Word of God. The truth’s of the bible will be made known to the people. They will know what is right and wrong. You won’t have to say what you believe, because the Bible will tell you how to believe. Let’s just get back to the basics. God’s word and the Good News. Can’t go wrong when you do that. Just look at the old time preachers! The reason they had great revivals and healing services. They spoke the word of God. Not there own beliefs or ideas!!!! Just the word and the Good News. It’s time to get back to the old to see the refreshing in the new.
No matter what you do? No matter how much schooling or the lack of? No matter the condition that you are in? You are called by God. You are part of His body. You are important to Him to accomplish what He has planned at your church and your community. Colossians 3: 23 says. And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto man. God is saying. That where ever you are working you are there for His purpose. So don’t do the work to be honored by man, but unto God. It doesn’t matter what kind of job you do. You are there for the purpose to serve God. So do it with a happy heart. Don’t worry about getting noticed by man. Because God notices you and that is all that matters. It also says in Colossians 3:17. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. So when you work keep giving thanks to God. No matter how bad you think your job is. Keep giving thanks to God about the job. Then you’ll see that job and your outlook on it turn around. And finally is says in Colossians 3:15. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body, and be ye thankful. You can switch the word peace into love. Because where you find love you will have peace. So when you change your thinking into knowing that you are important to the body of Christ. That were you are is exactly were God wants you to be. That were you are at you need to show the peace, love, and kindness of God. That when you get into God’s word, and start doing what you are called to do with a cheerful heart. There’s nothing that can stop you. So what ever you do. You are important in the body of Christ. Without you the church and the community wouldn’t be complete. So keep standing tall. Keep fighting the good fight. Knowing that you are called by God to be where you are at.
