Matthew 9:27-30 As Jesus passed on from there, two blind men followed Him, shouting loudly, Have pity and mercy on us, Son of David! 28. When He reached the house and went in, the blind men came to Him and Jesus said to them, Do you believe that I am able to do this? They said to Him, Yes,Lord. 29. Then He touched their eyes, saying. According to your faith and trust and reliance be it done to you; 30. And their eyes were opened….

Right before this scripture Jesus had healed the woman with the issue of blood, and the young girl that was sleeping. Now when the woman with the issue of blood happen. It states the the crowd was so tight around Jesus that it was suffocating. So we know that the woman had to struggle to touch His robe. So now we got the two blind guys. To give you a history on these guys. They stunk!!! Plain and simple. The probably had animal poop and sewage all over them. That’s why people couldn’t stand to be around them. Now imagine being blind and trying to get through this crowd. The funny thing is I think Jesus heard them, but made them build there faith up. So these blind men had to keep up with the crowd to get to the house. When they found were the house was they also had to battle through the crowd. Some say there might not be a crowd. I think there was. There is another part of scripture were it states the Mary and Jesus’ brothers were outside and they sent word to Jesus that they needed to speak to Him. So right there it shows the size of crowds that hand around. So the blind men are fighting to get in. I imagine the people were hitting and kicking these gentlemen to keep them back. Well they finally made it in. It probably took them an hour or so, but they never gave up. When they finally enter the house. Jesus asked them. Do you believe that I can heal you. They said yes. Then Jesus said according to YOUR FAITH AND TRUST. See while they were struggling they were telling themselves all we have to do is get by Jesus and we’ll be healed. Let’s don’t give up, because our sight is just inside. They were building themselves up to what was about to be and not what was. Sometimes as Christians we need to have these struggles as these men did. To build our faith up. If everything is given to us  we don’t  learn from it. It’s through tough times that we learn where our Faith level is at, and how much we need to grow. Jesus could have healed them right away. He decided to let them build there Faith for the future. So let’s get some blind building faith into us. Where we don’t take no for an answer. We just keep digging in and start knowing what our faith is made of.
