It’s time to use our Faith. Not just say it but do it. Most of us think that we use our faith in which we don’t. We pray for God to heal a headache. Then we go an take aspirin. Where was the faith in that? We ask God to help us in a situation that we are having. Then we try to fix the situation on our own, or we just stay put waiting for it to change. Where’s the faith in that? Sometimes we think that we use our faith when we really don’t. Then we complain to God why it didn’t work. Well you didn’t even use one mustard seed of faith. That’s all the bible says we need to use. The size of one mustard seed. That mustard seed is the size of the tip of a pin. It’s not big. So yes I’m telling you, that you are putting so much little effort that you are not even producing enough faith the size of a mustard seed. Ouch!! I know, I know. We all have done it. I’ve done it numerous of times. Thinking that I was using faith. When I was actually just mouthing words that ment nothing.
Ok! Let’s start at the beginning. What does the word of God say about your situation? You must use the word of God!!!! If you don’t have the word you don’t have nothing. It’s like when you make a cookies for the first time or you have to put something together. If you don’t have the recipe or the instruction book. You ain’t going to do to good. You have to be grounded. The devil isn’t scared of words. He’s scared of the word of God. That’s why it’s important to use it. If you need healing. You should have tons of scriptures. You can use the stories of people getting healed. You can use the scriptures on why Jesus died on the cross for you. You have to remember if you are saved and born again you are a new person. Born again means you are new. Everything you once had are now gone. I think that’s were people miss it. When a person gets saved. Everything they had is gone. If they are crippled. They are made whole. As Christians we miss that. When we save someone we also need to heal them, and let them know they are healed. It’s in the word. That’s why in Acts when people got saved there was miracles happening. Also in Acts since we are here. When a person got saved they made sure they were filled with the Holy Spirit. Able to speak in tongues. Why have we got off of that? Because church’s are affraid that people are going to leave the church because we are weird. Oh well. A person should be saved, then they should be filled. All at the same time. Church’s need to get back on track. Ok back on track.
Everything was left at the cross. When you get saved you are on the cross with Jesus. Everything was taken from you, and everything was given to you. Now you have the power, authority, and abilities of Jesus living inside of you. So why are we complaining? We should be rejoicing. Jesus defeated the devil already. So why are we acting like the devil is defeating us? When we act on faith we are using the power that Jesus gave us. By letting the devil know who we are in Christ and what we have through Christ.
When we act on faith we need to step out in it. That’s were we miss it. We really don’t believe what we say. We say we are healed, but we don’t act like it. If you have a headache, and you pray to be healed. Act like you are healed. Act like you don’t even have a headache. If you have sore muscles and you pray for healing. Don’t walk or act like you still have sore muscles. Walk and act like you are normal. You’ve been healed so act like you’ve been healed. Don’t act like you still have it, because when you do. You just canceled out your prayer. By unbelief. I hope you are grasping this. It is so powerful. I’ve had a sore back for years. I’ve always prayed for healing, but never put forth the mustard size faith. I always act like I still had a sore back. Now I don’t. I act like I have a normal back. When I pray. I act like I’m healed. Not like I’m going to be healed. Man what a difference. When I act like I’m healed. I have no pain. When I act like I’m going to be healed or that I’m waiting for my healing. I still have pain. Ain’t no faith in that.
The same can be said with saving the lost. You can pray until you’re blue in the face, but if you don’t do anything about it. It’s just wasted air. Step out. Use your faith and start saving the lost. Stop letting the devil convince you that you are small and weak. When the word says you are big and strong. They’re shouldn’t be a reason why Christian’s aren’t saving people everytime they go somewhere. We are letting the devil convince us that he is bigger than he is. He’s just a little worm with a big mouth.
Let’s get bold for God. Let us use Faith and not just air. Start stepping out and watch your life change. Just don’t pray for something. Step out in it like you already have it. That’s they way to use the faith that God has given you. You don’t have to pray for more faith or for you faith to be stronger. You can’t get more faith. You already have all the faith you need. You faith can’t get any stronger. It’s the strongest that it can get. You just have to know how to use it. When you use it right. You’ll see the power of God that comes with it.
Hello everyone!!! How’s everything going? Well had a wonderful time this morning talking to my old boss. We haven’t talked for about a year. It was nice to hear about all that is going on at the church and her kids. Man they have grown. She’s still one fired up pastor I tell ya! Well it looks like we’ll be heading to Nebraska here this week. Good FCF conference happening. Just love those kind of conferences. Nothing but pastor’s showing their love to God. Great singing, dancing, and preaching. The Holy Spirit always shows up. Pastor A and I sure did bust it loose a few years ago at one of these conferences. It started with the foot tapping. Then it went to the legs. Then the arms had to get some of it. Next thing you know I was out in the isle busting a groove. Wasn’t sure how I got there. All I know it was glorious. Can’t wait for great things to happen at this conference. Going there EXPECTING great things. See if you don’t go expecting things to happen. Nothing might not happen. You might see everyone else getting filled and you fill nothing. God is waiting for excepting hearts. He’s waiting for us to come to Him for answers. He’s waiting for our praises. Don’t be afraid to bust a move if that is what it takes. When I danced that day. My life was changed. My worries were gone. All I cared about was Him. Not people looking at me wondering how a big person like me could make those moves. It was all about Him. We need that more and more in our lives. Forgetting our lives and remembering His life. What He did for us through His son. Glory to God. So let’s break it loose. Let’s get that Holy Ghost movement back in our church’s like that church’s of old. Everyone have a glorious Week ahead.
